The Motorola Quench XT3, an Android 1.6 based device will be in India soon. The kicker is, this phone will cost a miniscule Rs. 12,500 (all things considered). It's a touchscreen phone with 3.2 inch wide display, 320 x 480 resolution, 3 MP camera, LED flashlight, supports EDGE, GPRS, Wi-fi, Bluetooth version 2.0 and 3G with HSDPA of 7.2 Mbps. It has a talktime of 6.5 hours with a standby time of 445 hours with 3G networks.
It will be interesting to find out what keeps the price of this phone so low.
