Another Prototype of an Ultra-Low Cost Tablet Pops Up

As if the Rs. 1600 computing device wasn't enough of a sceptic generator, AllGo Embedded Systems, a Bangalore based company has announced a low-cost tablet device. They're saying the cost of this device when producing 10,000 units is $50 per unit.

The device runs on Android 1.6 aka Donut, is built on a reference platform called 'Stamp' and has a 7-inch, 800 x 480 pixels resistive touchscreen display. The device includes Wi-Fi, USB and ethernet port. The product is still in its early stages and there's no telling what it looks like right now
