no adobe preinstalled for apple pc

Steve Jobs has no qualms in lashing out at Adobe. Saying that the software is buggy and battery inefficient, he's already had Apple stop running Flash on portable devices (excluding laptops) like the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Now, Adobe Flash will not come pre-installed on Apple computers.

The rationale behind this is that Apple users will be able to download the latest (and technically safest) version of Flash from the Adobe website anyway. The first of the lot to ship without pre-installed Flash will be the new Macbook Airs.

It's no great loss for Apple users really. The number of times we've had to (yes, HAD TO, involuntarily) update Flash is as good as just downloading the program from the website in the first place.
