Until recently,gmail has the contact limit of 10,000(that's correct ten thousand).For me,it was more than enough.After all,i am a simple user;but apparently there was demand for more space to store more contacts.
And google listened to this request and increases the limit to a whopping 25,000.This is valid for all all Gmail users, including those who use Google Apps.Plus now, each contact may be up to 128KB in size, allowing to store more information in the notes field.
