Godaddy is one of the most prominent hosting service provider.This week,it came to knowledge that its supporting the draconian SOPA law.Actually it was helping to write part of it.
After this information,people started protesting against this in twitter and also by removing their subscriptions.Notably,wikipedia withdrew from it.And as the saying goes-"ultimately its economy stupid",godaddy withdrew its support from SOPA.
Hopefully other supporters of this draconian rule will also see the light and abandon it in favour of democracy.
GoDaddy has always fought to preserve the intellectual property rights of third parties, and will continue to do so in the future...
Go Daddy will support it when and if the Internet community supports it.
