new ui of google search

while using google plus, read about a new browser- dwb. never heard about it. so googled the term. but this post is not about the dwb webkit browser,instead it is about the changed ui i encountered in the google search result.
as is evident from the  screenshot, the total left column of the google search result was transferred to the top - between the search box and the search result.
another attempt to merge all google products in the image of google plus!

    The best change is in google image search. where you can just drag a picture into search box, and search for similar pics.

    that was present in google for quite sometime. yes, you are right,it was quite helpful too.
