significance of country specific url change of blogger

Due to some unavoidable circumstances, could not check online news regularly. So, few days back i was quite amazed when i found that the url of my blog changed to soumalyaray.blogspot.in instead of soumalyaray.blogspot.com
Getting a ccTLD is not a bad thing usually so did not worry much.
After reading this , however my view point changed dramatically.
Google is doing this to censor the internet freedom. A step in the direction of making this whole world "China".

By utilizing ccTLDs, content removals can be managed on a per country basis, which will limit their impact to the smallest number of readers. Content removed due to a specific country’s law will only be removed from the relevant ccTLD.
There is a way out from this too.
To view the US version of the concerned blog page, /ncr need to be used after the url.
e.g, for my blog it will be - soumalyaray.blogspot.com/ncr
This special URL sets a short-lived cookie (session and/or a short life time) that will prevent geo-based redirection from the requested domain. This applies to all web browsers and all Operating Systems.
