firefox 4 delayed over hotmail bug

Just when Mozilla was preparing to launch the final release of Firefox 4, bugs have slowed down progress. The new bug is primarily related to Microsoft’s Hotmail service, where a specific page keeps reloading over and over again. There are also some bugs related to Flash that have been discovered.

The newly discovered bugs mean that Mozilla will push out another beta build or two before releasing a release candidate build and then the final build. This new version of Firefox would be a major release after a very long time.Mozilla has gone with a more thorough bug fixing and feedback powered development process over the last year. If more bugs crop up or the current bugs take time to be fixed, the release date of Firefox 4 may move from late February to early March.
