the guys at NotionInkHacks have come out with procedures of how you’re supposed to root your Adam. There’s a Gingerbread keyboard that’s been added and they’ve also showed us apps like YouTube, Gmail, Google Maps and Google Places. One of the most interesting features added seems to be the Android Market.
Some tiny changes include a home switcher and Live Wallpapers, plus the frame buffer rate increases slightly, making traversing a bit smoother. The catch seems to be that using the new firmware won’t make you applicable for Notion Ink’s OTA updates. In the video below, you can see the guy demonstrating the features have been added to Adam and towards the end he’s also played a game on it.
