Google is updating its offering for its android os pretty frequently.Recently,it released a version 5.8 with following improvements in Places and Latitude:
- Upload photos for a Place
- My Places as a simple way to manage the starred and recently viewed Places
- Descriptive terms for Places in search results
- Add a new Place on-the-go when checking in
