Need to write a dissertation for my MD.During the searching,it becomes apparent that latex is the need to write a proper dissertation.After searching for a little bit more,found lyx - a GUI based latex editor.
Its available in the ubuntu repository and the total file size is approximately 250 MB (including all the dependencies).
Downloading this much MBs using BSNL CDMA 1x is a nightmare.so decided to download in nights only!After 2 fateful nights,the download completed.Installed it.
Now time to learn how to use it properly.Keeping the fingers crossed.
