Investigations into Sunday’s Jama Masjid attack have found that the email ID, al.arbi999123@gmail.com, which was used to send the mail to media offices after the incident, was created using a California IP address. Police have also tracked down a second IP address — in Mumbai.
Sources said the email ID from the US IP address was created a few minutes before the dud car bomb blast. The Mumbai IP address was used to send the mail to media offices. Delhi Police suspects the person who created the ID passed on the address and password to the person who sent out the Indian Mujahideen mail.
