Soon you will be able buy e-Books from multiple online retailers, add them to your online library and read them on any device. According to sources, Google will be opening an e-Book store by the end of 2010. The store will debut in the US in December and internationally in the first quarter of 2011.
According to the report, users will be able to buy e-books directly from Google and other online retailers, while will be tied to a Google account. Readers will be able to access their Google accounts and their e-Books from any device with a web browser - be it a Personal Computer, smartphone or a netbook.
The Google versions of the e-Books will also have a revenue-sharing model for third parties, blogs and websites that talk about the book and link readers to the Google versions to get a cut of the sales.
