how to search securely via omnibar in chromium using google(https)

by default the omnibar in chromium uses http://www.google.com(for me its .co.in).there is a way to use https://encrypted.google.com by default so that your search remains secured and encrypted.just follow the screenshots:
go to wrench>Preferences and click the "manage search engines"
now you will see a list of search engines.just click at the "add a new search engine" box.enter googleS(you could enter anything you wish here actually),write "encrypted google" in the keyword box and now the hardest part--write this as it is in the last box (without "")

well almost done.just hover the mouse over the newly added search engine.you will find an option "make default".click over it and you are done.now just search through omnibar securely and encryptedly.
