microsoft promotes WP7 jailbreak

Microsoft was used to attack even if a shadow of reverse engineering appeared around any of its product.Since last few years, there is a palpable change in the demeanour of this behemoth-the reason in unknown. When the kinect hack came into the market, this market leader first gave a knee-jerk reaction and threatened to sue the hacker;but after few days they actually encouraged the person and did not take any step against him.
Now they are working with chevronWP7 to provide a legal  way to jailbreak windows7 device.ChevronWP7  is the hacker group who cracked open WP7 for the homebrew community.
According to this blog post, this service will come with a reasonable fee.
As announced on the Windows Phone Dev Podcast, we will soon be launching an approved Windows Phone unlocking service as part of ChevronWP7 Labs. This will be available to developers across all skill levels and all regions.
The service will require a small fee — currently via PayPal — to offset costs but we assure you it will be more affordable than the App Hub.
Though its not clear how the fee will be utilised. If chevronWP7 is charging for themselves, its alright but if Microsoft is going to keep some of the money then its clearly unethical.
Why should people pay twice for jailbreaking their device when they own it?And when the device should come without any restriction in the first place!!
